Commission a Pet Portrait

If you have a beloved pet, I would love to capture their character in a custom portrait in watercolours. All I need is one of your favourite photographs and I will hand paint a furry friend. The portrait will make a very thoughtful gift for a pet owner.

I use only the very highest quality watercolour paper and paints. Paper used is 300 gsm acid-free Arches watercolour paper. Paints are of the highest artist colourfast quality.

HOW TO ORDER:

1. Choose the size and either head and shoulders or full body. I can also do custom sizes and USA frame sizes, eg. 5" x 7", 8" x 10", 11" x 14", 16" x 20".

2. Contact me by email at stating the size you would like and send me a good quality photo of your pet, preferably in natural light.

3. I’ll send you an initial sketch so we can agree on the composition on the paper. Let me know if you’d like a background or not, and any other details about your pet.

4. I'll keep you updated on the progress, by sending images via email. Once painted, I’ll send you a preview for your approval.

5. On your approval, I’ll send out your portrait!

Your finished portrait will be carefully wrapped in acid free tissue paper and safely packed between 2 layers of double wall cardboard. I use Royal Mail Special Delivery. International orders are by Royal Mail International tracked mail. I do not charge for delivery in the UK. International postage is between £18 and £30 depending on the size.

Payment is via Paypal or bank transfer.

The process from ordering to receiving your portrait takes 1-2 weeks. I can prioritise your order if you need it urgently.
